What I facilitate is dynamic and holistic coaching to uncovering the power of your voice.
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
Dylan trained professionally at ArtsEd in Musical Theatre (BA Hons) and worked as an Actor for many years. He has performed in Westend and UK venues as well as international touring productions before undertaking the world renowned MA in Voice Studies at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. A graduate of leading London conservatoire training, Dylan draws upon his pedigree to deliver bespoke professional tuition and coaching in the private and public sectors.
As a communication coach, Dylan has worked closely with numerous executives and Keynote Speakers. Other reputable clients include feminist activists at Tipping Point UK, and often working as a Corporate Training Facilitator for The Smarty Train for which he has facilitated companies such as Amazon, First Direct and Johnson & Johnson.
As a Voice Practitioner, Dylan draws upon the vocal traditions of Fitzmaurice voicework, Linklater voicework, Alexander Technique, and Knight Thompson Speechwork to offer bespoke and accessible techniques and exercises for Actors, Singers, Public Speakers and anyone requiring an extraordinary command of their voice. His approach is centred on co-creation and the liberation of his participants, in tandem with the gentle and humane nature of voice practices. His ultimate passion is creating and maintaining a free and safe learning environment for every individual he facilitates.
In education, Dylan has lectured on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Voice and Acting for British Federation drama schools such as RCSSD, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and establishments such as Goldsmiths University of London and LMA. As well as fulfilling and developing the curriculum, he has also devised and facilitated bespoke workshops focused on synthesising the disciplines of voice, singing, culture and identity. Dylan is enthusiastic about debunking the illusions of professional arts training and widening the inclusivity of performing arts pedagogy.
